Ethics Online Courses

There are four courses to choose from. Bob Shoup has provided two slideshows entitled “The Grey Scale of Ethics” and “Black Belt Ethics”.

Or choose from two videosThe Ethics Storybooks with Tales from the Oil Patch by John Gibson and, Dilemmas of Trust by Judge Lynn Hughes. Each video takes about an hour to complete along with questions that follow.

Watch the videos or slideshows as many times as you like. Successfully completing the questions qualifies each person for one (1) Professional Development Hour (PDH).

PDH Form Available

The Professional Development Hours form is available for applying your credits for 2010. Build up your credits and become a Board Certified Member of DPA.

JCORET - reserves training

Joint Committee on Reserves Evaluator Training (JCORET)

The Joint Committee on Reserves Evaluator Training has launched a Web site providing contact information and FAQs about JCORET. Training materials and instructions for creating training materials are also featured.

Contract Models

In conjunction with the Division of Professional Affairs of AAPG SIPES has developed useful professional model contracts for independent geoscientists. A model Confidentialityand Non-Competition Agreement Form is available. A four-page Contract for Geoscience Services is also available without charge.
